On Saturday, 27 September, our school community came together for a lively, intergenerational anniversary celebration. More than 800 people – families, children, teachers, alumni and friends of the school – gathered to celebrate this special occasion.
The programme offered excitement for all age groups: From rodeo rides and a carousel to circus performances, skateboarding, breakdancing, electro and parkour workshops, and unusual bicycles – there was something for everyone to discover and enjoy. Our art exhibition ‘School of the Future’ showcased creativity, imagination and bold visions from kindergarten to secondary school.
Highlights of the day included the live premiere of our DSG anthem ‘Unser WIR’ (Our WE) – a joint project involving the entire school – the 4th grade’s play ‘DSG-Airline’, the UMA’s urban art performance, and a colourful stage programme by the primary school choir and secondary school students, who provided musical accompaniment for the DSG history quiz. The evening was rounded off perfectly with a performance by comedian Jürgen B. Hausmann and a delicious buffet.
Thank you very much, dear school community! To everyone who was there – whether as guests, performers or helping hands – without you, this celebration would not have been possible. Your ideas, your time and your enthusiasm made this day something very special. You have shown that our school is more than just a place of learning – it is a place of togehterness.
